Feedback on Toruń
Toruń was one of the highlights of our trip to Poland.
It was great to get away from the big cities and experience the more rural parts of the country.
The Old town reminded me of Prague yet more intimate and seemed to have kept its roots firmly in its culture.
The architecture blew us away with the cathedrals and surrounding walls alongside the scenic river views.
The people of Toruń embraced us Irish fans with open arms. I will never forget the Polish singing along with the Irish as if we were one nation for the week.
It was great to see the prices were kept low unlike some of the other cities we visited. This portrays the character of the people of Toruń in a very good light.
The beer and food was all top notch and we have promised ourselves to revisit Toruń in the near future with our family and friends.
Thank you Toruń for an experience we will never forget!

Not long in the door from my Wizz air flight from Gdansk, What a trip spent 10 days in Toruń and the past two in Sopot. Toruń was a wonderful little city full of charm and character. The people were wonderful and most helpful, There was not one negative thing I could say about my trip ( football aside ). I would like to thank Glenn Standish , Romek Poślednik and Anna Poślednik who made both my wife and I very welcome. To the others fans i met with on the trip and the very helpful ticket inspector on the train from Toruń to Sopot ye all helped to make it a magical 12 days that I will never forget.

Absolutely loved Torun the people the beer and the atmosphere. We had 2 nights booked in Sopot but only stayed one because we preferred the buzz in Torun. Thank you Poland, thank you Torun, thank you Glenn!

I spent 9 of the 11 nights in Poland in Torun and the other 2 in Gdansk and really enjoyed Torun. Its a lovely city, very historic, easy to get around and has great bars and restaurants and very cheap.
I'd say it is a lot quieter now today. The locals won't forget the Irish I'd say and we won't forget the city either.
Thanks

Based ourselves in Torun as it made more sense logistically and really glad we did now as I loved the place.Stayed at the Nova Apartments which have a great location in the centre of the city and Monika, who runs them, couldn't have been more helpful. The relaxed atmosphere around the city and the warm welcome from the locals made it a special 11 days for me. Everywhere we went the locals were very friendly and helpful......even if they had no english! Being a sports nut the fact that I got to watch beach volleyball, American football and some speedway just confirmed to me what a great city Torun is.I will definitely be back!!!

I spent 6 days in Torun with 7 close friends and we all came to the agreement that it was one of the nicest places we as a collective group have had the pleasure to visit. Everything was better than reasonably priced, the craic was immense and the local women were above top notch. I will definitely be back.
